Our core expertise lies in the depot-level overhaul of Mi-8/17 helicopters and their major components, including turboshaft engines, main gearboxes and auxiliary power units (APUs). In addition, LOM PRAHA specializes in the overhaul and repair of piston engines. Through our Flight Training Center (CLV) in Pardubice, we provide comprehensive flight training for military and civilian pilots using a modern fleet of aircraft, helicopters and advanced simulation technologies. Our subsidiary, VR Group, develops and delivers advanced simulators and simulation-based training systems for fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and ground forces.

A key element of LOM PRAHA’s future portfolio is its involvement in strategic modernization projects of the Czech Air Force. The company will play an important role in supporting the introduction of new aircraft platforms through advanced simulation-based training, technical support, and depot-level maintenance and overhaul capabilities. One of the key projects is the transition to the H-1 helicopter platform, including support for the UH-1Y Venom and AH-1Z Viper fleets through training solutions and higher-level maintenance capabilities.
