Mgr. Jiří Protiva

Mgr. Protiva has long held senior management positions in the fields of law and the management of state-owned enterprises within the defense sector. After completing his university studies, he served in technical and managerial roles at the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic. Since 2012, he has played a significant role in the establishment, operation, development, and prosperity of VTÚ, s.p. In 2015, he was appointed director of VTÚ, s.p., and under his leadership, the company has gradually achieved significant improvements in its financial performance despite various crises.
In 2025, he was appointed president of the Association of the Czech Aerospace Industry (ALKP).
Mgr. Pavel Lang

Mgr. Lang is an experienced manager with many years of experience in military journalism and communications within the defense sector. After completing his university studies, he served in the Czech Armed Forces and at the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic in various positions, including management roles. He subsequently worked at the ministry’s magazine, A report. From 2014 to 2021, he worked in the PR department at VTÚ, s.p., where he played a significant role in developing the company’s modern media presence.
Mgr. Ivan Heršic, MBA

Mgr. Heršic, MBA, has long held senior management positions in the areas of human resources management, career development, and oversight of civil service and labor law relations, not only within the defense sector. Following a career in the Czech Armed Forces (AČR) and the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic (MO ČR), where he primarily held command and management roles in human resources management, career management, and oversight, he also worked in these areas at VTÚ, s.p. and DPP Hl. m. Prahy, a.s.
Ing. Jindřich Staněk

Ing. Staněk is an experienced senior manager specializing in aviation technical support and management in the defense sector. After completing his university studies, he served in the Czech Armed Forces and at the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic from 1980 to 2013, where he held a number of primarily command and management positions. He subsequently worked in foreign diplomacy. From 2016 to 2021, he contributed to the development and operations of the security division at VTÚ, s.p.
Václav Šmejkal

Mr. Šmejkal is an experienced manager with many years of experience in financial management and corporate finance. Until 2008, he held various positions in the economic sector in the private sector; he then joined LOM PRAHA s.p., where he held a number of specialist, managerial, and executive positions in the areas of accounting and finance.
Petr Stejskal

Mr. Stejskal is an experienced professional and manager with many years of experience in the field of aircraft maintenance and inspection. He began his professional career in 1998 as an aircraft mechanic and subsequently held a number of technical and managerial positions in the field of technical inspection at LOM PRAHA s.p. He holds both civilian and military ground crew certifications.
Ing. Petra Zachařová

Ms. Zachařová is a manager with many years of experience in procurement, logistics, and technical fields, not only within the defense sector. She began her professional career in construction design at Pozemní stavby Olomouc, then worked in procurement at AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE, a.s., and as a sales consultant at Česká pojišťovna. Since 2017, she has been with LOM PRAHA s.p., where she has held various technical and managerial positions.
Ing. Petr Kalaš

Ing. Kalaš is an experienced manager with many years of experience in sales, procurement, and service development in the aviation industry. Earlier in her career, she held a number of managerial positions at AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE, a.s., where she focused on the strategic development of business activities, sales strategy, key account management, and service development in international markets.

Ing. Milan Hrdina

Ing. Hrdina has long been recognized as an experienced senior manager specializing in aircraft maintenance and operations management. He has worked at LOM PRAHA s.p.—with a brief hiatus—since 1987, where he has held a number of technical, managerial, and executive positions throughout his career. From 2008 to 2015, he worked at Czech Airlines, a. s., and later at Czech Airlines Technics, a. s., in various managerial roles and on the board of directors.
Ing. Jaroslav Čermák

Ing. Čermák is a long-time expert in the field of aviation and the development and modernization of military aircraft. Since 2004, he has held various technical, supervisory, and managerial positions at the Military Technical Institute, s.p. (VTÚLaPVO). Since 2013, he has been working at LOM PRAHA s.p., where he has held various technical and managerial positions in the field of military aviation technology development and modernization.
Ing. Jaroslav Špaček

Ing. Špaček has long held senior management positions. He is a highly knowledgeable aviation expert with many years of experience in military aviation and training. After completing his university studies, he served in the Czech Armed Forces and at the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic in pilot, staff, and command roles, including assignments within NATO structures. Throughout his career, he has flown Mi-4, Mi-2, Mi-17, and Mi-24 helicopters. After leaving military service, he worked as a flight instructor and air rescue pilot at ALFA-HELICOPTER, spol. s r. o.

Ing. Obr is an experienced manager with many years of experience in the fields of aviation engineering, aviation technical support, and management in the defense sector. After completing his university studies, he served in the Czech Armed Forces, where he held a number of aviation technical and command-and-control positions. During his career, he also participated in the ISAF mission abroad. He holds a number of type certificates for aircraft maintenance.
